I love getting outside early in the morning to do chores. It is so restful and meaningful to have animals daily dependent on you.

This time in July we have our second batch of chicks in the brooder, goats paving the way for them out in the pasture, ducks and turkeys together in the electric netting and egg laying hens with their own pasture near their coop.

In the garden, our plants are finally thriving! It's been a slow year with all of the rain we've gotten. Our plants went in late and many have rotted out with the rain. It's so good to finally see some growth!
