Our wood stove is a fairly simple stove. In this video, I am showing the method that works best for us. It's a little different than the traditional top down method of starting a fire. We tend to get some back drafting when starting with a cold chimney. The newspaper makes quick heat and gets the air flowing. We get a lot of satisfaction heating with wood. It gives us peace of mind knowing that no matter what happens, we are going to be warm. Nothing like a warm stove! Thanks for watching!
