Will the Germans continue there advance towards Moscow, or will the soviet red army push them back…

The German army has advanced across the Russian steppe to the village of Strikoff where the two armies will go head to head in a battle to control the vital village location.

Bolt Action Battle Report: Campaign Operation Barbarossa… The Battle of Stikoff Village is the second in our campaign playing through the invasion of Russia seeing us battle the Operation Barbarossa campaign from the Russian steppes through to Stalingrad and Operation Uranus and hopefully back to the fall of Berlin!!!

Utilising the rule and Campaign Books we will play through different scenarios to see who will win the war on the eastern front.

This week we play a scenario comprising of an inexperienced Soviet army defending the village of Stikoff, in an adaptedscenario labelled pillage the village - Michael’s soviet force will be take one side of the village, whilst my superior experienced German force will take the other.

The battle across the Russian Steppe village and across their homes will see one side victorious and the other will be pushed back for the next battle in the Operation Barbarossa campaign.

This scenario, sees the two armies going head to head for a winner takes all battle to the death.

See the battle unfold as the Germans race to secure the Russian village, the Soviets will hold to the last to save Mother Russia.

Warlord Games figures and their Bolt Action rules we are all set for a thrilling and desperate race to the objective and to win.

Another great battle, fantastic board and a few laughs and banter along the way…
