Washworld Profile ST at Jet Stream Laserwash in New Braunfels TX

Today, I'm at the Jet Stream Laserwash in New Braunfels TX (along Hwy 46) where I have for you viewers today a Washworld Profile ST. This was installed sometime in the mid 2010s along with the Razor in the bay next to it (   • Older Washworld Razor at Jet Stream L...  ), and this one was a replacement to an old Washworld High Velocity (and that replaced a Laserwash 4000) to give the customers an option between a touch free and a soft touch car wash depending on their preference. The Profile ST was the more spartan version of the Profile, wheras the Profile Max was more high features, but interestingly, this particular ST does seem to have nearly identical features to the Profile Max from the looks of it (perhaps, they were featured added on over time). I bought the top dollar wash which came out to $12, and overall wash quality for this I would give it an 8/10, undercarriage was excellent on this (complete with the power tower wheel blasters), presoak was decent (and personally, I'm honestly not a big fan of how the Profile's apply their presoak to the car), the soft touch cycle did pretty good as the brushes didn't seem to ride too close or too far and the top brush seemed to profile the front very well (I believe this is probably the best happy medium for not being overly aggressive like other soft touch systems) (I also like how it doesn't drop down until it gets to the roof being that this is a pickup truck its washing) though admittedly it does feel a bit strange seeing the top brush start profiling from the rear instead of the front like most other soft touch systems usually do, the tri-foam pass was excellent along with the rinse cycle programmed cleverly in the same cycle, sealant wax was pretty good, as well as the ceramic coating pass going back forward, the spot free rinse pass from both sides of the gantry went great, and the High Velocity (made by Premier) dryers did a very good job too (I like how this one still has the original dryer covers on both sides).
