Born in Jamshedpur on 16th June, 1971, Imtiaz Ali is an Indian Filmmaker known for his films addressing the sentiments of youth in Indian society. Imtiaz`s directorial debut happened in 2005 with the film “Socha Na Tha.” In 2007, his film “Jab We Met” led him to immense popularity. His 2009 film “Love Aaj Kal” gained huge critical success and was super hit at box office. His film Rockstar (2011) turned out to be one of his most successful films. Imtiaz Ali`s films Tamasha and Highway have extensively addressed the dilemmas and struggles of today`s youth in Indian Society.
