The first real shock of 2023 is here now. Netflix has always been known to axe shows, but it appears that even fan-favorite shows are not safe anymore.

Speaking on Monday night, the showrunners of popular Netflix Series “1899” announced that the show would not be returning for a second season. The decision has caused an Internet meltdown with fans of Warrior Nun joining hands with the 1899 fandom to bash Netflix for this decision.

The creators of 1899, critically acclaimed for their hit Netflix series “Dark” were optimistic over the show’s future and had seemingly huge plans, but it looks like we won’t be seeing more of 1899 now.
