Cumbrian Silage 2023. First cut in the fells with NH FR550, classic Ford 7810 & TM190 at the pit.

First cut silage making in the Cumbrian fells with the farms own kit. Working their way up and down the long, steep hill are a NH 7840 Turbo and Krone Swadro rake followed by a NH FR550 forage harvester. On trailer duties are a NH 8560 and T7.200 hauling Marshall 11-tonne trailers with additional support from a classic Ford 7810 and Fraser 10-tonne. Listen out for a lovely 6-cylinder bark as it changes gear pulling out of the farm yard! At the clamp a magnificent NH TM190 and Albutt buckrake fills the pit. Filmed in Cumbria June 2023.
