Maximizing sound quality with target curve in Home Theater

"I'm using a target curve in my 7.4.4 HT ATMOS setup with Dirac Bass Control. Question: Should I apply the same target curve to all the speaker groups including the subs (even if my heights are incapable of outputting boosted bass)?
Also related to my first question, when Dirac w/DLBC multi-sub creates its initial curves, they all look different for each of the speaker groups. In these curves is Dirac trying to match all the speaker groups to sound alike? I'm using all Kefs. Mains are Reference 4c, all the other bed layer are R series, and my 4 heights are q150s. That's why I was originally asking about applying the same target curves for all the groups. I was told by Kef that their lines are voiced similarly and would work together well."
