Buying your first wig can be hard and very emotional no matter which stage of hair loss you are at.
When I was on the hunt to buy mine over 3 years ago, I spent months researching and reading reviews to find something that would work for me. It was one of the most difficult and stressful purchases I ever had to make… I remember hovering my finger over the checkout button for what seemed like hours and once I did finally click to checkout, it was like holding my breath and diving under a wave for the first time.

It’s been a few years since the and alot more wigs, I wanted to share some recommendations, or a check-list of sorts to help first-time wig wearers make an informed purchasing decision and to take some of the guesswork out of buying a wig for the first time.
