Скачать или смотреть HIGHLANDS, NC ⛰️🥾🪻 4 Days Exploring Waterfalls, Ziplining, A Mountain Coaster, & Downtown!

In this adventure we headed up 3 hours north of home to Highlands, North Carolina. This quaint mountain town is home to only 1,000 people, but it a well known vacation destination & becoming more and more popular! It has all the charm of the small towns that we love with some great local restaurants, incredible hikes, & so many local adventures! We have been told by many people that we needed to visit Highlands & we are so glad that we did! We had the privilege of staying at Trailborn Highlands 2 minutes from Main Street & it was the perfect stay! Trailborn always goes above and beyond with their fully curated stays & they didn’t disappoint with this one! Like the previous Trailborn stay in Wrightsville Beach that we stayed at, Trailborn Surf & Sound, Highlands has a beautiful restaurant on property called the Highlands Supper Club. Talk about some of the best food we have ever had! Whether you are staying on property or nearby, highly recommend making a reservation for dinner here!

While in Highlands we had the opportunity to adventure at Highland Aerial Park to do their ziplining tour & wow! It was such a fun adventure, but also so beautiful to see the mountains from that perspective! Our tour guides were so knowledgable about the area, the trees, & made the experience so much fun! We will definitely be back to do it again! Hopefully next time in fall!


We also had the opportunity to take on some fun adventures at Highlands Outpost! This adventure park offers so much fun for all ages! You can do the tube racing & mountain coaster like we did & you can also do trout fishing and gem mining! We were really taken back by how fast the tube racing was! We were flying down that hill! We heard it’s also super special during winter time! One of our favorite things was the mountain coaster! They have such a nice setup there with a GoPro attached that you can download your video from your ride, it tracks your coasters speed, & takes a photo with big foot! We have seen friends of ours enjoy the park in fall and winter & it looks so much fun! Definitely a place you need to try out when in Highlands!

Lastly, we can’t stop thinking about the waterfalls we saw in Highlands! It truly felt like we were in the Pacific Northwest with how huge & majestic they were! You have to check out Bridal Veil Falls & Dry Falls when you’re in the area. There are so many others we didn’t get to see while we were there.
