The Lunar Drive tips its very tone-full hat to some cool 60's and 70's amps, in particular those built by a certain Mr. Dumble. I'm guessing that few have tried the real thing (I have, we had an Overdrive Special on the road back in '89) so the Lunar Drive might serve to give you a reasonable hint of that special sonic cream. Regardless of the name association, the Lunar Drive is a great pedal anyway. It's full of dynamics, no harsh tones, three different clipping options and can be used for everything from clean boost right through to classic rock crunch. And the for the going price (at time of writing) it is an absolute steal. Check it out for yourself if you get a chance.
