Sorry, more boring Canadian alpine terrain. Yes it's Traction eRag's infamous Grizzbait trip... and so far it's grizzly bears three, dirt riders zero. To make it worse it's time for another random vid where I answer a few questions, jump from topic to topic. Most viewers report they slowly lose the will to live watching these random vids. So you have only yourself to blame if you continue to watch this drivel.

Why do you keep putting yourself down? And saying your riding completely sucks? It's just a cultural thing we inherited from the British. Damn fine show old chap, what? The ability to laugh at yourself is valued highly. The ability to tell everyone how amazing you are just comes across as arrogance. And if I found some self esteem I would probably overdo it anyway. Dude my pivot turns are so fully sick. This gnarly pivot turn was so wicked a girl got pregnant just watching my extremeness to the max. My stoppies are like totally rad to the power of sick as well. All the supermodels want to sleep with me. And even Scotty in our riding group had a sex change operation on the slim chance he could have my baby.

SIDI CROSSFIRE UPDATE
Back in 2016 I did a video that suggested Sidi Crossfire boots and Garnes were generally regarded as the best boots you could buy in terms of safety and also value for money because they last so long. However Sidi appears to be slipping badly. A dealer told me he's had numerous returns in the past year and checked with the distributor who said he was getting lots of warranty claims from everywhere, and wondered what the factory is doing to bugger up the quality so much. Fellow rider Chris Perry showed me his boots after 50 hours with the soles peeling away and other parts starting to tear. Unfortunately I've got similar hours on mine and hitting problems too. Is this a temporary issue? Is it just Sidi boots sent to Australia? I don't know. I do know plenty of manufacturers start good quality locally produced goods, then succumb to the lure of manufacturing cheaply in Asia and don't enforce good quality control. Let's hope Sidi doesn't go down that path.

Which leads me to.... Why are you slamming certain brands and products now? Did manufacturers stop sending you money? Did you lose your sponsorships?
I've had a few snide comments about this lately because of recent vids on Suomy helmets and Beta quality control issues, KTM recalls, Klaus Mueller's high country tour and Fastway Evo Air footpegs. No I don't get money from manufacturers. No I don't get sponsorships. In fact I've been declining sponsorship offers and money the past year as the vids get well known. Some manufacturers have been quite insistent I should take their money because a review has increased sales, and I've just suggested they can become a supporter or donate money to the Global Village Housing mob I do some volunteer work for. Ha, God knows I could use the money, it's been pretty tough the past three years but I think it's more important to stay independent so I can actually say what I think. So yeah, if I think something sucks I will say so. But it's not driven by money at all. If you don't like critical vids, go visit another channel. No one's making you watch them. If you are anally retentive I think you'll like the next bit. My astrology chart says you'll be fine except Mercury is in Uranus. My thermometer broke. Thanks to everyone who gives me constructive suggestions about the vids. To those who just like to whinge and whine and demand I make the vids to suit them... well I think you know my policy lol. Apparently the vids are too long and too short. I should use more modern music and I shouldn't use any. I post too many vids and I don't post enough. Apparently I mention the supporter vids too often, and others say they never knew about them, why don't I publicise them more?
