Pilanesberg National Park | From a dilapidated tent to a snake in a five-star luxury resort.

Being the most defined alkaline ring complexes in the world, the Pilanesberg National Park has a special place in my heart. I booked us into a tented camp, nestled in the Manyane Resort grounds where our rain cover eventually met its fate. But not all was lost as the Black Rhino Game reserve provided a wonderful luxury experience.

From majestic giraffes to elegant kudus, from a herds of wildebeests to rhinos and the magnificent spooner boy lions, this adventure was filled with sightings of the park's magnificent inhabitants including the big 5.
