The video demonstrates Valarm using a USB OTG cable while charging at the same time on a Sony Xperia U ST25. Valarm Pro is launched when the air quality sensor (volatile organic compounds, VOC) attached to the Y cable is plugged into the USB port. The Y cable has:
Male micro USB port to plug into your Sony Xperia Android device
Female micro USB port supplies power for the sensor and charges the phone at the same time
Female full size USB plug lets you plug in any USB accessory (e.g., sensor) or a USB hub with many sensors and USB accessories!
