On Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of October more than 200 world class speakers and 3000 attendees from over 50 countries descended on the RDS in Dublin.
The Dublin Web Summit provides a diverse mix of insightful talks and workshops from some of the world's leading experts in social media and technology industries. Attendees will be given the chance to meet CEOs from leading billion-euro fortune 500 companies along with Silicon Valley veterans and successful start-up entrepreneurs.

Cpl IT director, Peter Cosgrove spoke about the new challenges facing the modern CTO in influencing the CEO with regard to technological change. The mass consumerisation and ubiquity of consumer devices in the home has raised the expectations of businesses with regard to how their IT products should operate.
On the 18th, Cpl CEO Anne Heraty attended a Leaders' Lunch where she discussed and explore the many opportunities, successes and challenges experienced by women across the IT sector. The event aims to discuss how best to address the gender imbalance among IT candidates.
