PUFFY Jet Tour '98

Collection of performances from PUFFY's Jet Tour in 1998.

Originally released on VHS in 1999, and on DVD in 2000, it's been a long time since it's been able to be seen in it's entirety. PUFFY's Jet Tour came after the release of their third album Jet CD in 1998, and they only toured in Japan at the time. It seems that their setlist didn't change from one venue to another, and they played 20 songs, however only 17 are included on the Jet Tour '98 video. Missing songs seem to be Simple, Puffy no Hey! Mountain, Toko Suru Karada, Tetsugaku (Philosophy), and Lemon Kid. Earlier concerts also had a cover of そんなヒロシに騙されて (Sona no Hiroshi ni Masutte) - a song by the Southern All Stars in 1983, but that seemed to be replaced with Tararan at some point in the tour. Shoubijin also was inserted in to replace Toko Suru Karada.

The Encore set always was Asia no Junshin, Simple and wrapping up with Mother.

As a massive Asia no Junshin fan, this tour also marks when they played a bit more raucous version of Asia no Junshin. Not quite the peak, best version (honeycreeper tour all day), but still better than the earlier tours.
