The Cotswolds in southwest England is a beautiful and magical place located only 75 miles from London. The region is filled with lovely villages and rolling countryside vistas which may have been the inspiration for The Shires, home of the Hobbits, in JRR Tolkins "The Lord of the Rings." We visit the weekly market in the village of Moreton in Marsh that's been going on since the year 1227.
We stayed at the Tree Tops Guest House in Moreton In Marsh. It was excellent.
