A Review of the KC761-B Gamma Ray Spectrometer

How much better is this new version of this product, and are the improvements worth the extra cost? I have looked into the major claims by the vendor and independently tested these claims.
I also need to make clear, I was sent this product by the manufacturer, for free (its the first time that it has happened), perhaps they are regretting that now...
