Fingersoft released Hill Climb Racing in 2016 for mobile devices and it has gone on to become perhaps the most popular of all modren racing games. It's free, there are a lot of vehicles to choose from, the tracks are infinite in lengh and they vary greatly in types of terrain, the characters are funny and the physics are fantastic. Oh yeah, and you can do stunts too!

This is my favorite racing game, perhaps from any device or gaming system. Family friendly and not a brain cell killer, I recommned this one. As a last note here, I was able to figure out how to download the game for pc through the Microsoft Store and that's how I made this video here.
