In this episode I’ll be restoring the rusty nuts, bolts and brackets on my car by Zinc Nickel plating them.

What current to use when plating?
That should be 100ma per square inch. You need to measure/estimate the surface area of the item you are plating, eg item is 3 inches x 4 inches thats 12 square inches. Now double it so that you include the back so that's now 24 square inches. For that you will need a current of 2.4 Amps.
