In this video we'll learn about the 4 phases of population growth of India.
Phase 1 - it is from 1901 to 1921. This period is called Period of Stagnant Population.
Phase 2 - The 2nd phase is from 1921-1951. This period is referred to as the period of steady population growth.
Phase 3 - The 3rd phase is from 1951-1981. This period is referred to as the period of population explosion in India.
Phase 4 - The 4th phase is from 1981-2011. This period is also referred to as the Period of High Growth with definite signs of slowing down.
