The life of a hungry actor is not one size fits all. It was very humbling to return to the BET Open Casting Call 5 years, 2 major strikes, and a pandemic later. Even after finding some success in the process, having received major auditions, and already having booked a couple of co-stars (one on BET) and a plethora of commercials, I humbled myself. When you are hungry, you must eat. I knew that with 5 years passing and things having changed so drastically, I needed to get in some folks' faces again, and I did just that.
