Revanth Reddy launches Rythu Bharosa scheme, BRS calls it a ‘betrayal’ | News9

Telaganan CM Revanth Reddy has announced the Rythu Bharosa scheme under which Rs 12,000 per acres will be given to farmers on an annual basis as part of agricultural subsidy. The BRS however termed the launching of the scheme a ‘betrayal’ saying that the money was less by 3000 than the electoral promise of Rs 15,000 made by Revanth Reddy. KT Rama Rao said that the Congress government was ‘full of fraud & deceit’ and Revanth Reddy was a ‘traitor to the farmers’. Telangana govt responded by saying that the money was Rs 2000 more than that given by the erstwhile BRS govt, and the new scheme amount was decided by keeping the state’s finances in mind.
