Among the much-loved spaceships in the Star Wars series, the Y-wing is a small but very detailed spaceship. That's why it takes a lot of effort to design it for 3D printing. Furthermore, it's even more difficult to design it so that it's easy to assemble while expressing these details.
So I always worry about whether to design it so that it's easy to make and omit details, or to express the details as much as possible, even though it's a little difficult to make. After much thought, I decided to focus more on expressing the details that differentiate the Y-wing from other spaceships.
That's why there may be some difficult parts.
The precautions are as follows:

Precautions
1. Be sure to remove the support and smooth the area neatly.
2. First, assemble the hinge of the cockpit (dark gray part) and the center canopy. And before attaching the cockpit to the main body, assemble the yellow cover first.
3. You need to attach the pipes of the hull, so check the shape and holes carefully and attach them. I recommend attaching them first before using the adhesive. Since it attaches using the elasticity of the plastic, you can attach and remove them before using the adhesive. Please check the video for more details.
4. When gluing the cannon onto the canopy, be careful not to glue the rotating part together.

For more details, please check the video.

As with other Star Wars ships, I will design a display stand soon. And, I will continue to make Star Wars ships, so please look forward to it.
