Start on the Freshest Server
Save Gold, Don't Pay to Win. Don't use gold on resources.

Don't Forget, This Game is Not Important!
Don't Play to Win, Play to Have Fun and Socialize!
Pay attention to first kill announcements, watch an advertisement for more stuff!
Make sure to get different commander tokens, 14 officers unlock a new march slot
Rush quickly with speedups and not gold. Focus your command center.
Don't be swindled. Buying anything in these games with real money is never actually worth it.
Other than helping you produce better units, base level can also scare attackers away from messing with you.
Level ups restore Stamina, Corps and PVP points. Try to use them before you level up when you're fighting fit!
When you run out of speed ups, check Events and Missions for more!
Remember to upgrade your officers, their equipment gives huge bonuses.
T1 Units are Trash, focus T5 at Base Lv 13
After base level 13 or so you'll be spending a lot less time tied to your timers.
Reduce excess before you log out, get rid of any resources above your warehouse capacity.
Keep your troops safe in a bubble or at your Alliance farm and HQ. This is really a loss management game.
Boosts for base defense mean a lot more. Focus on the general buffs, then the defense buffs first.
Choose a name and upload an icon! You are more of a presence that way.

If you are going to make an alliance:
Secure a permanent mine! Set your alliance HQ near a mine to make it very difficult to take it from you.
