Snowgoblin - Kalamazoo

Hello! I've had a couple weeks off the ol' piano. Went to Glastonbury and had a whale of a time, but now I'm back. I had a bit of a crazy dream last night, I know people can't think of anything more dull than hearing about other people's dreams but I wrote this song about it so I'll give you the deets.
It started off quite nightmarish, something was happening to people that turned them into other things and took their souls... I was trying to rescue the soul of a man who had been turned into a loaf of bread (LOL) but on my way to the hospital I saw Dom Howard (the drummer from Muse) walking down my street. I followed him and ended up in a school dining hall and Muse were about to play a gig to a handful of people. Now I was in a predicament, I had to try and save the soul of this loaf of bread, but also my childhood ultimate favourite band were just about to play some intimate gig in a school. I put the bread down and chatted to Matt Bellamy, I told him I got bullied when I was a teenager because I liked Muse, but I didn't care because they meant so much to me at the time. I asked him to play some old songs cos I didn't know any of the new ones, the last album I had bought had the song ''Kalamazoo'' on it (doesn't exist IRL) and he told me he'd written Kalamazoo about his old caravan, Mulberry. All the time, I was very distracted by the loaf of bread and kept checking it was breathing OK. Anyway, I kinda just woke up there but it was very vivid and I found it very funny this morning... so here's the lyrics:

Far away in Kalamazoo,
that's where I up and left you.
Wrapped you up in a plastic bag.
Breathing slowly, breathing fast.

I begged for the one just for me.
I knelt to check on your breathing.

He spoke in riddles did this young old man.
He asked me to live in his caravan.
She lay on the bank near an old oak tree.
He said her name was Mulberry.

I asked him to play the old ones.
I checked the bag but you were gone.

I looked around until I did see.
The breadcrumb trail you'd left for me.
I ate the crust, each part of you.
Found myself in Kalamazoo.

I heard his voice from afar.
I sank into the ground.
I sang the song, his voice I heard.
Our souls within the earth.
