(24 Sep 2020) Owners of a bar in the Czech capital Prague protested against further virus restrictions Thursday by circumventing new measures ordering them to shut their doors by 10pm.
The Mill bar stayed open by continuing to serve drinks through a window to customers waiting outside.
Owner Martin Kotas said eight bars in the area had already gone out of business because of virus restrictions, and feared his bar could go the same way if the measures became even more drastic.
The Czech government has now limited indoor gatherings to ten people, with no more than 50 people allowed to gather in the open air.
The move came after a record daily increase of 3,000 new virus cases, recorded last week.
