The All Blacks suffered a defeat against South Africa in the second Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship Test in Cape Town. South Africa's Malcolm Marx scored a crucial try late in the game, helping the Springboks secure an 18-12 victory and claim the Freedom Cup for the first time since 2009. The win also marked South Africa's fourth consecutive victory over the All Blacks, a feat not achieved since 1949, and all but sealed the Rugby Championship for the Springboks.
