Parma captain Alessandro Lucarelli retires from football at the age of 40 having been at the club since 2008. He has captained Il Tardini to three successive promotions culminating in the return to Serie A. Parma have retired the number 6 shirt in his honour and he leaves with adoration from the Parma fans.
