Now, when a call comes from an unknown number, your mobile screen will display not only the caller's number but also their name. And this will happen without using any app. The telecom regulator TRAI and DOT (Department of Telecommunications) have taken this step to prevent fraud through mobile calls. The name shown will be the one provided by the user in their ID proof when getting the mobile number connection. This will be a default feature. If any user does not want this feature, they will be able to deactivate it. Telecom companies conducted a trial of this service last year in the Mumbai and Haryana circles.

अब अननोन नंबर से कॉल आने पर आपके मोबाइल स्क्रीन पर कॉलर के नंबर के साथ ही उसका नाम भी दिखेगा। वो भी बिना किसी एप यूज किए। टेलीकॉम रेगुलेटर TRAI (ट्राई) और DOT (दूरसंचार विभाग) ने मोबाइल कॉल से होने वाली धोखाधड़ी रोकने के लिए यह कदम उठाया है। यह नाम वही होगा जो यूजर ने मोबाइल नंबर कनेक्शन लेते समय आईडी प्रूफ में दिया होगा। यह डिफाल्ट सुविधा होगी। अगर कोई यूजर यह सुविधा नहीं चाहता, तो वह इसे डिएक्टिवेट भी करा सकेगा। इस सर्विस के लिए टेलीकॉम कंपनियों ने मुंबई और हरियाणा सर्किल में पिछले साल ट्रायल किया
