President Trump said he does not “care about the Nobel Prize” while speaking to reporters in Palm Beach, Florida, on January 19, 2026, ahead of his departure for Washington, D.C.

The U.S. president defended his record in office and said the United States is now “the hottest country in the world,” as he prepares to travel to the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Trump also addressed his position on Greenland, saying the U.S. “has to have it” and claiming that Denmark cannot adequately protect the territory — comments that have drawn international attention.

During the exchange, Trump confirmed that he had invited Putin to join a newly proposed “Board of Peace” connected to the next phase of the Gaza peace plan. He also reacted to reports that Macron would not participate, saying France’s leader would soon be out of office.
