This super group of friends pays tribute to the women of bluegrass with a carefully curated set of songs. Lindsay Lou has been making soulful, poignant music for the last decade. An undeniable powerhouse, Lou’s remarkable gifts as a singer, songwriter, musician and performer demand the listener’s attention. An accomplished Americana instrumentalist with foundations in jazz and swing music, Phoebe Hunt makes an impressive creative leap with her latest record, Shanti’s Shadow. It’s the culmination of a five year journey that has taken her from her Austin roots through Music Row, Brooklyn, and even to India to study with seventh-generation master violinist Kala Ramnath. Mimi Naja is a vocalist, mandolinist and guitar player from Portland, Oregon who now lives in Nashville. Last year, she released a pair of companion albums - Wild as the Night and Broken at the Break of Day - with her band Fruition.
