Murakami's Vanishing Elephant: Piano ambient and calm music

Описание к видео Murakami's Vanishing Elephant: Piano ambient and calm music

A few months ago, I recorded this session on a day when I simply let the music flow.
It's not a big production or anything grand, but it's something humble that I wanted to share as it came out that day.
I set up my beloved, though aging, Canon 5D MkII to capture the moment, with only a little light in the studio. I started playing and soon forgot the camera was even there.

Yesterday, when I found the footage, it brought to mind Murakami's story, and I decided to finish the edit and share it. All the sound is uncut, with no post-editing (I apologize for any clipping or unacceptable saturation).
Just my piano, octatrack and OP-1 field are part of this...

Thank you so so much for listening..., and If you enjoyed this video, I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a like or consider subscribing. It means a lot and helps me continue sharing more content like this. Thank you!

Chapters:
00:00 Part 1: The Tale. The first part establishes the main melody, representing the seeming normality and sudden intrigue after the elephant's disappearance. The piano leads the narrative, while the OP-1 Field adds a subtle texture, reinforcing the sense of the ordinary hiding something deeper.
04:30 Part 2: Searching the Memory. In the second part, everything revolves around variations of the sampled loops from the original melody. Like a search through memory, the sounds intertwine and distort, creating new realities that are sometimes as ambiguous as the memories the protagonist tries to reconstruct.
08:20 Part 3: Time revealed. The final part is an evolution where time becomes tangible. The Octatrack kicks emulate the sound of time passing, making it clear that, like the elephant, certain things disappear, leaving only their echo in memory.
