“Safi Sana” means “very good” in Swahili. When I was 20, I travelled around Tanzania with my old school mtb; Safi was the only word I knew and I was repeating it again and again to show appreciation and closeness to the humans that were offering me all they had: “Safi Safi Safi Sana Safi Sana” “good good good very good very good”. Since then, I knew that, whatever I would do in life as a personal project, would be called like that. A word full of joy, energy and humanity, that’s Safi.
