1. Surah Yā-Sīn (يٰسٓ)

Overview:

Surah Yā-Sīn is often referred to as the “Heart of the Qur’an” (Qalb al-Qur’an) because of its powerful style, central themes, and emotional impact. It provides warnings to disbelievers, glad tidings to believers, stories of past nations, and a reminder of resurrection and accountability.

The Prophet (SAW) said, 'Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur'an ten times.' [Tirmidhi] The Prophet (SAW) said, 'Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah's pleasure, Allah would forgive him.

2. Surah Ar-Rahmān (الرحمن)
[The Most Merciful]

Summary:

#. Celebration of Allah’s Mercy and Blessings:

The Surah begins with the beautiful name "Ar-Rahmān" (The Most Merciful).
It mentions how Allah taught the Qur'an, created humans, and gave them the ability to speak and understand.

#. Harmony in Creation:

The sun, moon, stars, earth, sky, trees, and seas are all mentioned as signs of Allah’s wisdom and balance in the universe.

Repeated Verse:

"فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ"
“So which of the favors of your Lord will you [two] deny?”
This verse is repeated 31 times throughout the Surah—addressed to jinn and humans—urging reflection on the countless blessings from Allah.

#. Creation of Humans and Jinn:

Humans were created from clay, and jinn from smokeless fire.

3. Al-Waqi'ah (Arabic: الواقعة) is the 56th chapter (Surah) of the Quran consisting of 96 verses.

The Surah talks about the resurrection that will definitely take place. It is a fact undeniable. The human beings then will be in three different groups. The faithful are of two types: those who are the pioneers and are foremost in their faith and struggle in the path of Allah. They are a large number from amongst the earlier community and a small from among the later generations. Then the rest of the people are believers and those who oppose the faith. Allah's rewards are for the faithful and his anger and chastisement is waiting for the opponents of faith.

The Surah then invites human beings to think about themselves and the things that they use daily and consider who created all these things. It talks about the Qur’an and its profound and consistent message and then finally reminds about death and the coming end of every being.

4. Surah Al-Mulk (The Dominion).
Al-Mulk (Arabic: الملك) is the 67th chapter (Surah) of the Quran consisting of 30 verses.

It talks about the greatness of Allah and beautiful universe that He has created. It reminds people that if they consider the laws of universe and travel in the land with open eyes, they will indeed see that this whole kingdom belongs to Allah and He controls everything.
