On 20 and 21 September 2015, two concrete girders were lowered into place, as part of our project to build a dedicated cycle bridge over Moggill Road, Indooroopilly.

Video transcript: Chris Mantell: My name's Chris Mantell, I work for the Department of Transport and Main Roads as a engineer.
Mark Stone: My name is Mark Stone, I work for McIlwain Civil Engineering.
Chris Mantell: We're just here tonight to install a Super-T girder over the top of Moggill Road, as part of the Moggill Road Cycle Project.

Chris Mantell: The project will deliver a cycleway into the city for approximately 800 cyclists a day.
Timelapse footage of the truck arriving at the intersection, the girder being raised onto the bridge piers, and then secured. Footage shows delivery of the second girder at the intersection, with cranes lifting this onto bridge piers and being secured.
Mark Stone: We've just successfully completed one of the major milestones for the project, installation of the two largest T-Roff girders, 32 metres, utilising a 500 tonne and 350 tonne mobile crane.
