Fly Tying with Tellis Katsogiannos #12 Den Vanlige (The Usual fly)

#12 out of 12 weeks with fly tying videos, the last episode of season 1.

Den Vanlige, or The Usual, is a very famous pattern here in Scandinavia and it has its roots in the north of Sweden, and probably the most famous fly from river Byske. These colors are truly beautiful together and fishes great in rivers that has that "tea color". I have had great success with this pattern in all of my home rivers and they all have a peaty, copper tone. I caught my first ever May salmon in river Örekil on this pattern, and several others before that!
