Sanding and refinishing parquet floor to an amazing finish can only be achieved if you follow the correct process and every step is carried out thoroughly. One of the most important steps in achieving flawless hardwood or parquet floor finish is thorough vacuuming after each step of sanding. Vacuuming is not there just to remove some dust from the previous step but more importantly to get rid of any abrasive material from your belts remaining on the floor and scratching the floor while you sand with a higher grit.

The worst we have seen completed so far was another school floor project that has been carried out by a 'professionals' sanding with 24 grit or even lower and then jumping straight to 80 grit then a couple of coats of lacquer. This is not how it should be done. Period!
