Minolta MC Tele Rokkor-HF 30cm (300mm) f4.5 Lens and Diaphragm Disassembly

Full disassembly and reassembly of a Minolta MC Tele Rokkor-HF 30cm (300mm) f4.5 lens. Lens is disassembled to access the optics, mechanical components, and body sections individually. The diaphragm is also taken apart and reassembled.

This lens is very similar in its construction to the 200mm Minolta MC Rokkor-QF. Both lenses are more challenging to take apart because of their elongated and more complex designs. The lens is very repairable in that you can access all the individual components with some effort, but basic maintenance like cleaning the diaphragm is involved and requires the entire lens be taken apart.
