In a podcast on YouTube, interviewer Tom McCluskey aka Tommo asks Former Formula 1 Senior Systems Engineer, Dan; whether he ever thought about moving from Red Bull to other teams like McLaren or Mercedes.Dan who had worked for six years with Red Bull mentioned that he declined a job offer from Mercedes due to their very formal and uptight culture. He even mentioned that Red Bull employee – who took up the offer at Mercedes; quit in six months and rejoined Red Bull.

Unilever has launched a four-day workweek experiment in New Zealand. The FMCG behemoth has also started a program in Unilever U.K. called “U-Work” where people who wish to work for less months; can do so and get the required flexibility and job security. Unilever is also experimenting a model known as “U-Renew”, where employees can decide to take up further education and take a sabbatical and Unilever ensures they are paid their salary.

With a robust performance in 2021; Ferrari F1 team gives away up to 12000 euros to each employee as a token of appreciation.Mentioned in a tweet, “#Ferrari after the 2021 accounts and strong indicators 2022 announces an annual bonus of up to 12,000 euros to each employee.” The rationale behind the move can be also be attributed to crazy work schedules and burnout faced by their employees.

IKEA’s Ingka Group
The Ingka Group rewarded its 170,000 employees around the world recognizing their work, efforts and devotion amidst the Pandemic. The reward which was stated as ‘Uppskatta’ (the Swedish word for appreciation) stood at a whopping $128 million. The $128 million reward is in addition to the existing rewards offered by the conglomerate which also entails an annual ‘One IKEA’ bonus; which is based on company and unit performance.
