Tour #64 - June 1, 2024

This walk takes us down Dogwood Drive (formerly Stewart Avenue) to look at the area along Dogwood slated for new development. A stop at the Methodist Church to see the Ouida Wells memorial garden and finally over to the Baptist Church.

This walk is part of a series of often live- streamed tours in which Dewey, a Hapeville resident and town historian, wanders around Hapeville to capture what the town looks like during a time of rapid development and change.

Hapeville, founded in 1891, is a 2.5 square mile town located directly north of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, seven miles south of Atlanta.
