CCTV Estimation | Designing Helps and Ides!!

The name CCTV abbreviated as Closed Circuit television

Where it has two types of system.

Basic System (Analog)
Security cameras capture an analog video signal and transfer that signal over coax cable to the Digital Video Recorder (DVR).


Advanced System (IP- Internet Protocol.)
Whereas the IP cameras capture images in much the same way as a digital camera, and compress the files to transmit over the network. IP cameras may be used with a wired network connected via Ethernet cable to a broadband modem or router, or wireless via a WiFi router.

Designing IP CCTV System
Designer or Estimation Engineer should keep the below points in mind,

Draw basic schematic to know how the CCTV Network architecture will be. Whereas you come to know, what all are the item or materials required.
Generate the BoQ, By list out the bill of material quantity’s.
