The Taming of the Vine

Phew! Finally got to explaining how in hell there exists a plant that not only
contracts on command as artificial muscles and imbibes the Essence to do so in a plausible way.
It took some thinking, but I'm pretty happy with the solution I came up with, hope you like it as well!

The Vines of War (VoW) is a 100% Human-made personal project, set
in an early-modern period, low-fantasy world with organic mechs! And other technologies, which are somewhat grounded in the realities of the period and (most) laws of physics thanks to a special energy, named simply "The Essence".
Stick around for more worldbuilding and lore bits, and eventually a visual narrative set in this world.
