I really enjoyed these Catasetum Blooms in my kitchen for many weeks, but now it is time to let this orchid go into full dormancy. We begin by removing the 2 bloom spikes, then the roots are cut away after unpotting. The orchid appreciates removal of the dry, papery sheaths from last year's pseudobulb as well. Then, the orchid is simply stored with its name tag until new growth begins to appear closer to springtime.
