Occasion: On the occasion of the MSS Centenary Year, S.Aishwarya pays tribute to her Great Grandmother Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi with this lovely rendering of a Bhajan "He Govinda He Gopala" of the revered Sant Surdas popularised by her Great Grandmother MSS and her Grandmother Dr Radha Viswanathan.

S.Aishwarya is the Great Grand Daughter of Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi and Grand Daughter of Dr. Radha Viswanathan and the disciple of Karnataka Kalashree Vidushi Smt Jambu Kannan.

S.Aishwarya began learning Carnatic Music on Vijayadashami day of Oct 1999, when she was hardly 4 years old from her Great Grandmother Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi and her Grand-mother Dr Radha Viswanathan. She continues to learn from her Grandmother even today.

Apart from her Grandmother S.Aishwarya is under the tutelage & expert guidance of Guru - Karnataka Kalashree, Vidushi Smt. Jambu Kannan who has assiduously trained Aishwarya since 2002.

From her 5th to 7th year Aishwarya learnt Carnatic Vocal under the watchful eyes of Smt. Sharanya Krishnan, a disciple of Smt Suguna Purushothaman.

From March 2014, S.Aishwarya also has been training under Pandit Nagaraja Rao Havaldar, a disciple of Pandit Madhava Gudi, himself a prime disciple of Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi.

Aishwarya is a Vainika too and since 2005 has been learning the Veena under Vidwan Sri A Shankar Raman, disciple of Late Vidushi Rajeshwari Padmanabhan, Grand Daughter of Karaikudi Subburama Iyer (of the illustrious Karaikudi Brothers representing the Karaikudi Baani -- a unique style of Veena playing)

By hearing this song, one can visualise how much effort has been taken by Smt Radha Viswanathan to pass on the precious MSS legacy to her Grand Daughter S.Aishwarya
