I was a big fan of James Garner's 1981-1982 TV series, "Bret Maverick," which revived his character from the original "Maverick" series as an older, but not necessarily wiser man, now living, gambling, and executing con jobs in a small Arizona town. The introduction here comes from that series' final episode, "The Hidalgo Thing" (May 4, 1982).
