FPV Head Tracking 1100mm T-28 - CADDX Avatar Moonlight kit - Goggles L - GM3 - Grass Ops

About 1 year ago I decided I'd like to take off, fly and land 100% from the cockpit of an RC airplane, preferably with head tracking FPV. But not just that, I wanted clear digital HD video. Also, I had no RC airplane experience at all when I came up with this idea. I spent the last year learning to fly RC airplanes, learning about FPV gear, and just enjoying the hobby.

So this was my first attempt at flying with head tracking FPV, and I chose to do it on the maiden flight of this BlitzRCWorks 1100mm T-28 that I picked up from Banana Hobby. This T-28 turned out to fly very well on2200mah 4s, only needing elevator adjustments after these flights with all control surfaces set to a neutral position.

The aircraft nearly impacted terrain on my first launch and I forgot to raise the gear for the first flight all together but otherwise everything went pretty smoothly. Landings were easy, as this T-28 does seem to fly reasonably slowly without trouble.
