Here's the 1948 demo to "The Dress That My Mother Wore," a song written, but not used, for the classic 1950 Disney film CINDERELLA. The demo is sung by the voice of Cinderella, Ilene Woods, and the song was written by Larry Morey (lyrics) and Charles Wolcott (music).

From the digital booklet notes included with the purchase of THE LOST CHORDS: CINDERELLA: "In this poignant ballad Morey and Wolcott expanded on the significance of the dress that Cinderella plans to wear to the palace ball, painting a picture of her mother and father and how deeply she sensed their love for each other."

Included as a special feature on both the 2005 DVD release and the 2012 Blu-Ray release, the demo was cleaned up and restored for it's inclusion on Disney's 2012 release, THE LOST CHORDS: CINDERELLA, a digital album featuring a selection of demo recordings and modern recordings of the film's cut songs.
