DEMOCRACKCY – where "Democracy" meets crack. This debut single explores the idea of a democracy stripped of true power, where the people exist but are denied their real voice. Derived from the Greek words demos (the people) and kratos (power), democracy thrives when both coexist, allowing the people to truly shape their governance.

But what happens when kratos—the power—is absent? When elections and institutions are nothing but symbolic gestures controlled by the elites? The true will of the people is replaced by an illusion of choice. It’s a system that breeds disillusionment, oppression, and silence. In this reality, democracy is reduced to nothing more than a tool for legitimizing authoritarian rule.

In DEMOCRACKCY, we see this stark reality reflected, not just in global politics, but in my very own state of Manipur. Is it time for us to ask: Do we really have power, or are we merely existing in a system that deceives us?
