*** ABOUT ME & MY YOUTUBE CHANNELS ***
Hi, my name is Jolene Morris, I am roughly 80-years-old, and I have been teaching mathematics for about 60 years! I first made mathematics videos in the mid-1980's with a newly invented camera called a camcorder. ☺ I would record me teaching mathematics at the chalkboard, and then I would share those videos where/when needed with my students. It was about this time that I was given the Presidential Award for Teaching Excellence by the President of the United States (the highest honor a teacher in the United States can receive). I later recorded math tutorials when screen recording software was invented, and I shared those tutorials on CD-ROM, our school's network, and later online. I created my Visual Mathematics channel shortly after YouTube was invented in 2005. I currently create my (faceless) mathematics videos using PowerPoint and screen recording/editing software called Camtasia.

In May 2022, I was diagnosed with diabetes and an autoimmune disease so I started practicing a Keto lifestyle. In order to keep a record of my journey and to share my experiences with other Keto individuals, I created a second YouTube channel called _My Keto Journey_. I create my (faceless) Keto videos using PowerPoint and screen recording/editing software called Camtasia.

The university at which I teach uses Microsoft Office® and requires students to submit assignments using that (or compatible) software. The university offers a certification course to faculty members who want to learn more tips and tricks to using that software. In the early 2000's, I took that course and am now certified as an Office expert. I created a YouTube channel (@Jolene_Morris3) to organize my notes from that certification course and share what I had learned with interested users. Note that this is not the official certification offered by Microsoft, but I have the university-recognized "Certified Office Expert (CEO)" certification.

On my fourth channel, I have a playlist explaining how I make my YouTube videos (@Jolene_Morris4). I am not an expert at Office, Keto, or YouTube, but I am excited to share what I know. I create about 2 videos each week. As such, I add one new video to each of my four channels about every other week. I encourage you to subscribe to the channels that interest you; and, if appropriate, click the LIKE button on those videos that are especially helpful to you. Please share your comments and reactions with me below [in the comments area] -- I read and respond to every comment I receive.
